The cowhides smell of leather and are soft to handle. Watch out for smelly, stiff hides that are thin as well. They simply do not last.We do not deliver the exact image shown and each piece is varied.
The cowhides come with possible barb wire fence marks in the form of fine lines,tick bites that can show as marks and brands that make the item authentic.
During tanning leather can be torn and these marks are sewn for the back or patched occasionally to fix the holes.These are unobtrusive and can occur occasionally
